The GradMaker, the graduate jobs match maker is designed to help you find the right graduate and internship jobs to further your career. Rather than having hundreds of employer brands thrown in front of you, you can simply filter graduate jobs by location and industry, or go further and rank and prioritise which employers you are going to apply to using criteria that's important to you. We hope that GradMaker can help you find the right graduate opportunities with the graduate employers that provide what you think is important.

The GradConnection Story

GradConnection is a site created by 3 recent graduates who found it hard to get a good understanding of all the graduate opportunities that were available. Dan, Dave and Mike all met during their first graduate job and decided that the best way to help graduates in the future was to build a website to help rank graduate employers and graduate programs.

GradConnection was originally formed in 2007 when we were all graduates ourselves. We realised that the activity of finding a graduate job was strenuous at best, and that there was not a great online resource to evaluate what organisations were right for a graduate. This lead to graduates applying everywhere and organisations having to wade through thousands of applications for a small number of roles.

We originally built a graduate resume pool, but realised quickly that this was unfair on graduates who spent time applying to our site but had no guarantee that their applications would ever get read by graduate employers.

In July 2008 we incorporated GradConnection and moved into our offices in Sydney. We quickly adapted our website to rank and order graduate employers and on 1 March of 2009 we launched the first online product of GradConnection with twenty organisations on board. We successfully helped 1000's of graduates with their applications in March, April and May.

The site you are viewing now is the second release of GradConnection, and designed based on graduate crowd sourcing and focus groups to make sure we help more and more Australian students and graduates find the right internships and graduate jobs.

We are now the highest traffic ranked graduate employment website in Australia (as of Alexa.com November 2009). We are excited at the number of organisations we currently have on board and all those organisations in the process of coming on board throughout the year, this along with a number of improvements to the site will ensure the easiest job hunt for graduates ever are what to expect in the future (read more about us).
