Resourcing Lead/ Candidate Community Manager
Position Overview
Love the interwebs? Do you like to meet new people? Do you know where that hard to reach candidate might be hanging out online? If not, do you want to learn? Do you use Facebook every day, all day? Know what Linkedin is? Is being involved online so ingrained you just can't stop? Do you take pride in customer service excellence?
If so this job is for you. We seek a highly a motivated individual with no experience but has a fanatical passion for searching for things online, managing and manipulating data, blogging and is social.
Position Responsibilities
- Creatively and proactively assist customers and candidates
- Serve as the initial point of contact for inbound requests
- The preparation of both long and short lists of potential candidates
- Qualifying the candidates to get an understanding of their career history and where they sit within their company
- Maintaining and developing a research library of client / candidate information
- Build strong relationships with the candidate community, to enable you to track and map their movements. Interests and availability.
- Liaise in partnership with consultants to understand their requirements for talent in the industry vertical your community building activities are focussed on.
- Identify the various communities and locations that candidates hang out online and assist the consultants in engaging with them
- Author blog posts, articles, podcasts, videos and screencasts about Peerlo, recruitment, clients and candidates.
- Tag and title content, with an understanding of how the word's chosen impact natural search traffic and rankings via recurrent optimized content
- Facilitate and where necessary coordinate competitions and events
- Participate in social media, as yourself and white hat avatars, on our behalf
- Optimising tags, on our feeds, sharing sites like YouTube/Flickr and search engines through copywriting, creative & keyword optimization.
- Manage the Peerlo Social Media Policy, and encourage behaviour consistent with this etiquette
Skills and Experience
- Ideally you have a bachelor's or associates degree in Human Resources, advertising, marketing, communications, English, or IT.
- You love helping people and find it rewarding to solve people's problems. Then you love to proactively use that experience to make the whole service better.
- You will thrive on building relationships online, face to face and over the phone.
- You are an independent, creative self-starter who loves running with things while keeping everyone inside and outside the company in the loop.
- You excel at research, possesses excellent writing skills and the ability to crank editorial without management prodding.
- You can source and manage content development for publishing
- You understand the social media universe including YouTube, Linkedin Delicious, Digg, Flickr, Forums, Twitter, Wikis, blogs, etc. We're looking for a social media addict who maintains a personal mix of participatory expertise from among these channels.
- You are proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Apps products
- You have a general understanding of the power of RSS feeds and SEO marketing
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment
- You have outstanding organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

Key Performance Indicators
- Responsiveness to communications (blog comments, emails, twitter messages and forum threads) less than 24 hours max.
- Number of RELEVANT QUALITY blog posts read and shared via Google Reader.
- Successful engagement of candidates that lead to placements.
- Number of meaningful comments (more than a few words, on topic, pertinent to the space) on appropriate blogs, videos, and other media per month.
- Overall quality of Twitter stream - 60%/30%/10% mix of industry-related / personal and @ comments / and off-topic.
- Engagement on the blog/Facebook Group. (Number of subscribers, number of comments, number of links out to other blogs from our community site).
- Number of quality blog posts and linking posts - 40%/60% split between original and linked.
- Number of links from other sites to blogs and sites.
