I have just started as a mid-year entry for a Bachelor of Commerce this week however credits obtained from a previous Hotel Management Degree will see me graduate at the end of 2013 therefore my question is - am I in my penultimate year as opposed to first year and does this then make me eligible to apply for Summer Internships?

Hi - I worked for the ANZ for 15 years, then had kids and went to Uni. I would love to go back to the back in my new career (OSH), but I live in Perth & due to family committments can't jusy pack up and move to Melbourne. What should I do to try to get back into the bank?

I am looking at applying for the 2012/2013 Summer internship again this year. Last year I was in my final year of a Bachelor of

Commerce at the University of Melbourne and over the next year I am doing a Master of Applied Finance. I applied for the program last year but was unsuccessful beyond the assessment centre for the Commercial program. My first query was whether I am eligible to apply for the program this year if I am due to complete my Masters mid next year. And secondly, whether you would recommend applying for a different stream based on my education.

Thanks for the note - technically you are eligible to apply as you are finishing your study in 2013.  I suggest giving the grad line a call though so we can talk through what might be different for you this time around given your previous involvement with the assessments.

I am Abu and I have completed my Master degree in Information Technology from University of Tasmania (in 2009).

Since I was in temporary resident visa I could not apply for any full time IT job, so I was doing part time job to survive in warehouse industry where I used my IT knowledge to some extend level. I got my Permanent Resident Visa on 24th May 2012 and relocated to Sydney three weeks ago to pursue my IT career.

Now I am very much interested in joining ANZ Graduate/Summer Intern Program. I am confident in my knowledge of majority of IT concept and have a clear understanding of the standard Australian work styles. With MS in Information Technology, I have a full understanding of Software Development Life Cycle.
