Requirements

You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident. To apply for an Engineering career you must have studied an Engineering degree at a recognised Australian university. You must also meet the ADF's recruitment standards, including Australian citizenship, aptitude, medical and fitness requirements.

Engineering Careers in the Australian Defence Force

To determine which Engineering career you could apply for, select the Engineering degree stream that most closely resembles the title of your Bachelor of Engineering course. Degrees such as Biomedical, Chemical, Environmental and Mining engineering may be suitable if they contain significant Mechanical or Electrical Engineering components.
