We have approximately 6000 staff in over 50 locations in Australia and 26 locations overseas; with approximately 75% of employees located in the National Office in Canberra. Eligibility

Applicants must have completed, or be due to complete an undergraduate degree by the end of the 2010 academic year.

Applicants should also be Australian citizens, although special consideration can be given to Permanent Residents in the process of being granted Australian citizenship.

We offer positions in the majority of our business groups and networks, with the majority of positions being available in the Canberra National Office.

DEEWR Graduate Program 2011What being a DEEWR Generalist Graduate involves

As a generalist graduate you will have opportunities to broaden your skills and gain experience across a variety of areas.

Successful applicants will be involved in building networks for an exciting and diverse career in the public service, while gaining knowledge in DEEWR's program's and policies.

As a DEEWR graduate, you will be investing in not only your future, but the future of Australia in a Department that wants to invest in you.

You will be involved in a 10 month program that will contribute to your personal development and career growth through participating in up to three rotations. You will also have access to intensive learning, support, training and development, flexible working arrangements and an attractive remuneration package.
